Our nonprofits are who we work with every year.
Before the event
Once you have requested your nonprofit be part of Seattle GiveCamp, the Seattle GiveCamp board will review and let you know if you’ve been selected. Once selected, you’ll work with a program manager to ensure that you’re successful on the weekend. They will ask many questions, such as but not limited to:
- Who will be available who has passwords for your servers?
- Do you have a design for your website?
- What logos and other imagery do you want to leverage?
- And many more questions… (see here for a sneak peek: Project Managers)
Also, we would like it if you had hosting set and ready. This includes registering for the hosting that you will require.
- Microsoft for NonProfits
- This includes $3,500 in donated Azure credits, Office 365 for your organization and more.
- Registering for this takes time as there are humans involved from Microsoft. Please register with Microsoft for NonProfits at least a couple weeks prior to your event.
At the event
At the event, we’re excited to work with you on your tech project.
Specifically, we’re excited to work with someone who has decision-making capabilities around the tech project. As well, that person should be ready with assets for the project, passwords, etc.
Presentation (5-10min) at the end of the weekend:
- What did you have before?
- What was created?
- What’s the impact?
After the event
- Thank your team!
- Please consider giving your project team Recommendations and Endorsements for your gracious volunteer team members. Here’s how.
- Boost marketing!
- Update your social media with any highlights (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter/X, Mastodon, Instagram, TikTok). Get photos within a week from our photographer.
- Follow our LinkedIn Page and feel welcomed to share posts from this year’s event.
